研究领域:从事非线性偏微分方程组理论与计算领域的研究。解决了二维零压流输运方程的Riemann问题,二维守恒律方程的Riemann 问题,拟定常流中的Von Neumann波与临界跨音激波、定常流与拟定常流Von Neumann悖论及拐角处的扩散问题、交通流问题、血管流动力学问题及气体动力学燃烧问题等。发表SCI论文65篇。主要成果发表在著名刊物Memoirs AMS、Arch. Rat. Mech. Anal. (2篇)、SIAM J. Appl. Math. (5篇)、J. Math. Pure Appl.(2篇), IMA J. Appl. Math.、 J. Diff. Eqs.(3篇)等上。获上海市自然科学二等奖、宝钢优秀教师奖、上海市教学成果特等奖、一等奖等。曾任中国数学会理事、上海市数学会常务理事。现任中国工业与应用数学学会普及委员会委员、中国工业与应用数学学会理事、上海市工业与应用数学学会常务理事、Communication on Applied Mathematics and Computation副主编等。 2021年获上海市优秀党务工作者以及上海市教委优秀党务工作者称号。
